What ARTEMis Delivers

ARTEMis delivers an integrated set of tools, methodologies and protocols that enhance alerting, impact forecasting and emergency response. By combining Earth Observation, meteorological data and AI-driven analytics, the project supports timely, impact-based decision-making for multiple natural hazards.

ARTEMis Objectives

  • Assess and integrate existing emergency management systems across Europe into a coherent and interoperable framework.
  • Harmonise alert and impact forecasting systems, enabling consistent, impact-based information delivery across borders.
  • Enhance risk awareness and capacity building through targeted training, tools and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Validate solutions in real-world conditions across diverse hazards, regions and operational contexts.
  • Enable wider dissemination and ecosystem building, supporting uptake, collaboration and future exploitation of results.

Validation in Real-world Conditions

ARTEMis validates its solutions through a set of carefully selected use cases covering different natural hazards, geographical areas and response contexts. These include both domestic and cross-border scenarios, ensuring that the developed tools and protocols are practical, scalable and transferable across Europe.

A Phased Delivery Approach

ARTEMis follows a phased delivery approach, progressing from assessment and development to validation and consolidation. This iterative methodology allows continuous feedback from stakeholders and ensures that solutions evolve based on real operational needs.
